We just started charcoal. In class we were just fucking around and getting a feel for the medium - I drew a few things but this was my favorite :) I'm not sure why, but one of the other classes had this huge sheet hung up at the front - I've gotten really into drawing drapery this year so I chose to draw it.. I've had some practice already and I think it shows!
I also got some fixative spray and have been playing with that.
I think I really like charcoal! I think this will be a good medium to express myself through in times of crisis. Lord knows I need all the help I can get. Has anyone else noticed how fucking insane easel prices are btw? Is anyone looking to get rid of an H frame easel?
